The 2020 Primary seven candidates today begin writing their examinations.

This is after the Uganda National Examinations Board conducted a briefing of candidates on Friday last week.

The board’s spokesperson, Jenipher Kalule says the Primary Leaving Examinations are to be conducted today and tomorrow.

She says 749,811 candidates are registered for the Primary Leaving Examination to be conducted from 14,300 centres.

Kalule also warns against all forms of exam malpractice, saying those caught shall be dealt with harshly.

The candidates are starting with Mathematics in the morning and social studies and Religious Education later in the afternoon.
