At least 30 people were injured after a Kigali-bound Trinity bus heading to Kampala overturned.
The accident occurred at Buyaaya village, Buwama town in Mpigi district along the Kampala – Masaka highway after the bus registration number RAC 117T overturned.
According to region traffic policeBedahKatureebe, the accident was as result of over speeding by the driver identified as Joseph Bigirimana.
The bus which was travelling from Kigali to Kampala mainly had passengers of Rwanda, Congo, Burundi and Uganda.
He said that police is working closely with Trinity bus company to identify the relatives of the injured.
