Cipla-Quality chemicals, to produce more new products return to profitability

Cipla Quality Chemicals says it will continue introducing more new products on the market to enable the company to make profits.

According to the chief executive officer at Cipla –Quality chemicals Ajay Kumar Pal, they are planning to invest in the production of drugs that treat lifestyle diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer among others.

He says effective this year they will be producing 9 products, in addition to HIV/AIDS drugs Malaria, and Hepatitis which the company is currently producing.

He made the remarks at the 4th annual general meeting, where the company also announced its annual financial performance profit of 28 billion after the sale of drugs totaling 268 billion shillings.
