The chairperson of Parliament’s physical infrastructure committee Eng Kafeero Sekitoleko says it is to expedite handling of the Landlord and Tenant Bill 2018.

This comes amidst concerns over growing tension between traders and landlords in the city.

Now speaking to Kfm Eng Kafeero says last week the committee started scrutinizing the clauses of the bill after interfacing with concerned stakeholders

He says 6 clauses were handled with more work expected this week, giving assurance that the bill will soon be finished.

The bill aims at regulating the relationship between landlords and tenants.
