By Ivan Ssenabulya.

Democratic Party leaders in Mukono are divided over the UYD reunion slated for 27th June, to be hosted in Mukono municipality tomorrow.

The meeting was announced by the party leaders in Kampala after a resolution during the Reunion launch at Makerere last month to have reunions in different regions starting with Greater Mukono.

However a section of leaders supportive to the area MP Betty Nambooze lead by Goma Mayor Erisa Nkoyoyo, are opposing the meeting at the time when Nambooze is bedridden.

The meeting is being coordinated by Mukono Municipality Mayor George Fred Kagimu.

The mayor’s deputy Jamadah Kajoba insists that the event will happen as planned.
