Embattled National Unity Platform (NUP) coordinator for Busoga region Moses Bigirwa has launched a pressure group.

Speaking during the launch of the Eastern Revolutionary Platform Political Pressure Group in Jinja earlier today, Bigirwa said he was tired of being mistreated by leaders in the opposition political parties.

Bigirwa said he would ensure total independence from the other parties as he pushes for a new government.

The group has chosen white and black as their official colors with a slogan “East First’.

Moses Bigirwa, was in December last year, relieved of his duties as NUP deputy secretary for mobilisation in the Eastern region by the party leader Robert Kyagulanyi.

He was replaced by Andrew Kiiza, after close to 12 months of investigating complaints from supporters in the region that Bigirwa, Saulo Nsongambi, the acting district party chairperson for Jinja City, Bamu Lulenzi, Jamal Ayagalaki and Andrew Muwanguzi were causing divisions within the party.
