Ugandan Events promoters have demanded for an official communication from police regarding the fate of Bobi Wine’s Easter Music concerts.

Addressing journalists in kamyokya, one of the Music promoters Abby Musinguzi commonly known as Abitex said many promoters lose millions of money when music concerts for Bobi Wine who is the Kyadondo East Mp are cancelled or foiled.

Abitex revealed that a letter was written to police a month ago about the musician turned legislator’s Kyarenga music concerts during the Easter weekend but no response has been made from them.

Police has since last year blocked many Bobi Wine’s concerts on grounds that they were not cleared by the police chief according to Public Order Management Act.

Meanwhile, deputy police spokesperson Polly Namaye says they will soon avail an official communication on the matter.
