FUFA disciplinary committee has slapped an 11 year ban on Uganda Super League board chairman Kavuma Kabenge, while chief Executive officer Jimmy Ssegawa has been handed a one year ban over alleged indiscipline.

The announcement was made by the secretary disciplinary committee Asuman Nyonyintono at a news conference this morning following a meeting with FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa.

Nyonyintono adds that the Super League has also been suspended until the sticking issues have been resolved.

This is after the duo refused to appear before the committee earlier claiming that Fufa had summoned them as individuals and not the entity which is supposed to answer to the charges.

Kabenge wanted FUFA to instead summon USL as the company which would then direct one of the members to appear.

Fufa wants USL to answer why they have refused to replay some of the games they agreed were null and void after USL used non-qualified referees to officiate the games at the beginning of the season.

However, speaking to KFM, Kabenge has rubbished the ban as a mere joke.

He says he will not respect the ban and insists that FUFA does not have powers over him.
