A 23-year old man has been remanded to Luzira prison for allegedly causing the death of his wife after a fight.

Baluku Abdu a resident of Kisenyi Kakajjo zone in Kampala are jointly charged with a 42-year old woman Hadijah Nakaweesi.

The two were charged with the offence of Manslaughter before Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayizzi but denied the charge.

Prosecution states that on May10th, at Kakajjo zone in Kampala Central Division, the duo unlawfully caused the death of Aisah Kwaga.

They were remanded until June, 17th, 2024 when they return to Court for mention of the case.
