CAF Confederation Cup
Group A
FUS Rabat 3-0 KCCA FC

Uganda’s representatives at the Total CAF Confederation Cup were defeated in their 1st group A game by Morocco’s FUS Rabat.

Playing at the stage for the first time, KCCA FC struggled with nerves playing a side that has history in Ugandan football after FUS Rabat thrashed SC Villa 7-0 in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup

Brahim El Bahri goal that came just seven minutes from kickoff, Yusufa O M Njie slotted home from close range from a low cross as the Moroccan side went in for halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

The second half wasnt any different as substitute Karim Ben Arif put the game beyond reach tapping home Yusupha O M Njie’s cross in the 77th minute.

The result means FUS Rabat go top of group A on 3 points. KCCA FC’s next game will be a home encounter against Tunisia’s Club Africain on 24th May at Phillip Omondi stadium.
