The Management of Kyambogo University has decried the under staffing currently affecting the university performance.

The University Vice Chancellor prof Elly Katunguka says the university staff establishment is currently operating at 32% yet the student population has increased to over 23,000.

Katunguka says under staffing especially at professorial level has undermined research at Masters and PHD level.

He says the university is currently depending on part timers who are hard to manage thus affecting the learning time table.
