Thirteen more people have sustained injuries after lightning struck a police radio communication antenna at Omoro Sub county headquarters, Alebtong district.
Most of the victims were farmers who had turned up at the Sub county Headquarters for a NAADS meeting.
The LC3 Chairman Omoro sub county Robert Okullu says they had sought shelter near a building whose rooftop was struck during a heavy down pour.
He says the victims sustained varying degrees of burns and were rushed to Omoro Health Centre for treatment.
This is the second time lighting has struck the district in just three days.
