Malawi has been accused of playing covid tricks against Uganda cranes with just hours to their decider game due this afternoon at 4pm.

The Uganda cranes need a draw  to secure a place in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon while Malawi needs all the three points to qualify.

Reports coming in from Malawi indicate that they want to eliminate Uganda’s midfielder Taddeo Lwanga whom they claim is COVID-19  positive and as such can not play.

However the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, FUFA has now written and requested CAF to consider the results from the SADC Accredited Laboratory which is all under the same Management as Queens Central Hospital.

FUFA says two tests show different results but affirms that the boys have remained strong despite the issue at hand.

The Federation body has meanwhile assured Ugandans that Denis Onyango, Farouk Miya and Orit Ibrahim are available for selection clearing rumors that they had also been implicated by Malawi for being positive for covid 19.
