Meanwhile, the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has today commissioned a housing estate at Kigo off Entebbe Road.

The 25 modern houses have been constructed through a partnership with Guoji a Chinese company.

Representing the King at the event, Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga noted that the Kingodm will continue with such projects as one of the ways of ensuring financial independence.

Mayiga also revealed plans of constructing low cost estates within the kingdom to provide decent shelter to the people living in Buganda irrespective of ethnicity.
