Reverend Christoper Tugumehabwe, who accuses former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stanley Ntagali of committing adultery with his wife Judith Tukamuhabwa, is demanding Shs500m in general damages.

In a 26th April intention to sue letter, Reverend Tugumehabwe through his lawyers of Bikangiso and company advocates says that it has come to his knowledge that Archbishop Ntagali has been committing adultery with his wife.

Reverend Tugumehabwe also says former Archbishop Ntagali’s intrusion into his marriage cost him his job as lecturer of Religious Studies at Bishop Barham University College (BBUC) in the Diocese of Kigezi.

He says he has video and audio evidence of former Archbishop Ntagali admitting and apologizing through the media to have committed the offense of adultery with his wife.

Reverend Tugumehabwe also demands another shs30,000,000 as costs he incurred in a divorce case No. 5/2020 which he claims was initiated by Archbishop Ntagali.

According to the letter, former Archbishop Ntagali has 14 days to adhere or be dragged to court for trial.
