By Damali Mukhaye.

The plan to get the Mukono municipality legislator Betty Nambooze from kiruddu hospital forcefully by the opposition members of parliament has hit a dead end after police foiled it.

This is after a number of MPs led by Kira municipality legislator and Forum for democratic change spokesperson Ibrahim Semujju Nganda stormed the hospital to get her out of by force to go for treatment in India .

Mps are accusing police for faliling to let go of Nambooze despite having a letter clearing her to go the review, but the Police which was heavily deployed at the hospital blocked them.

Nambooze was admitted at Kiruddu hospital two weeks back after her condition deteriorated at Nagalaama police station were they had detained her over the death of Arua MP Abiriga’s death.

Police has declined to comment on this issue.
