Museveni meets Kenyatta in Mombasa

President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in Kenya’s coastal city of Mombasa for a three-day state visit on the invitation of His Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta.

Besides bilateral meetings, the President will also tour Mombasa Port before proceeding to Nairobi for further engagements.

At the Moi International Airport in Mombasa, President Museveni, who was honored with a 21-gun salute, was received by his host, President Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Minister Sam Kutesa and Kenya’s High Commissioner Phoebe Otaala, among other officials.
