Nec moved back to within a point of leaders Vipers following a hard-fought 1-0 win over KCCA at their shared Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Thursday evening.

Midfielder Enock Ssebagala headed in what turned out to be the game’s only goal on eight minutes in a result that will have turned the Uganda Premier League into a two-horse race. Nec hold an 11-point advantage over third placed Express with KCCA a further point back. Read more
