The leader of the Ugandan delegation in Marrakech City, Morocco, is confidence that Uganda Cranes will win.

Mr. Rogers Mulindwa was speaking shortly after a training session ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Niger.

He said the team is all set for this must-win game, whose positive result is badly needed for Uganda to stand any chance of qualifying for the January 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Fifteen countries have now qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, including the hosts, Ivory Coast hosts.

The Cranes are third in the group with four points behind Tanzania, while Algeria already qualified.

The 2024 tournament will begin with the opening match at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on January 13, 2024. The final game will be played on February 11.
