Members of parliament may have to wait a little longer to go on recess.

Legislators had expected to go on recess at the end of today as announced by the deputy speaker last week.

Chairing the house this afternoon, Oulanya has asked for members of parliament to be patient and finish the remaining business as approved by the business committee.

He however adds that they would be able to go on recess by Thursday as soon as they are done with pending business

Some of the pending business to be discussed is the motion for creation of new municipalities and districts among others.
