Police say they have recovered an assortment of bomb-making material from a suspect’s residence in Nabweru.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says the recovered items include a sack of capacitators and 21 AK47 rounds of ammunition, two bomb vests and electric gadgets among others.

This comes just days after the twin bombings that targeted the Central Police Station (CPS) and another building located along Parliament Avenue, a few meters away from parliament.

Enanga adds that they believe that the ADF militants who police blame for the terror attacks are currently avoiding Kampala Metropolitan area.

He has thus urged members of the public to remain vigilant and not lose their guard against terrorists.
