Kitebi Primary School in Rubaga Division has been closed down after being allegedly attacked by evil spirits.

The spirits attacked pupils, throwing the school administration into confusion.

A group of pastors had to be called in to pray for the pupils while those that had not yet been attacked were sent home.

The Police was however called in after the residents attempted to lynch a woman who is alleged to have imported the spirits into the school.

The residents beat up the woman who was only rescued by the police.

The school administration has been locked up in meetings in an attempt to find a solution to the problem.

KFM witnessed the scene in which the visibly possessed pupils fought, beating up chairs and breaking windows as the prayers by the pastors proceeded.
