All set for schools reopening in Kenya after closure over polls.

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha says so far, there is no security threat in the country that can stop children from going back to school.

According to Daily Nation, Magoha also says schools will not close again because of elections.

“It will be unnecessary for learners especially those in boarding to go home again due to elections’, said Prof Magoha

Next week, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will conduct elections for governorship positions in Mombasa and Kakamega counties.
