The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among has tasked parents and guardians to keep an eye on their children as schools across the country close for holidays. Some schools closed last week for term one holiday while others are closing this week.

While Interacting with pupils of Global View Preparatory School in Kitgum district, who were on a study tour of Parliament, Among implored all parents and guardians to take keen interest in who their children interact with.

She also asked the parents to be mindful of what their children are consuming on TV and social media. saying that everyone should be involved in shaping a generation of responsible people.

She further encouraged the pupils to stay in school to shape a better tomorrow.
