Sri-Lanka’s Foreign Affairs Minister meets President Museveni at State House

President Yoweri Museveni has met and held talks with Sri-Lanka’s Foreign Affairs Minister Tilak Marapana who called on him at State House Entebbe.

President Museveni and his guest discussed possible areas of cooperation between their two countries such as Police training in counter-terrorism, tea handling and vocational training.

The President thanked the Government of Sri Lanka for its support to Uganda having built one vocational school in Masuliita

Marapana was accompanied by Amb Veluppillai Kananathan, the Counsel General of Sri-Lanka to Uganda and Janaka Marapana the Private Secretary to the minister.

The meeting was also attended by Uganda’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Henry Okello Oryem and Ambassador Grace Akello
