The government of Germany have has agreed extend 93.5 million euros in form of grants in the sectors of energy, water and rural development

Signing the memorandum of understanding between the government of Ugandans and Germany, the major focus is on water resources management and water for production which should address the growing pressure on the water resources through increased use of water production and address effects of climate change.

The Deputy secretary to the treasury Patrick said,20% of the Ugandan population still lives below the poverty line and warned that no funds should be diverted for other purposes
