The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has started investigating the loss of its vehicles.

The move comes as the UNRA Commission of inquiry chaired by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire continues to unearth the rot in the roads authority.

The UNRA manager finance and administration John Bosco Ssejjemba says the over 50 missing vehicles belonged to different departments of the authority.

He says that on Kawempe- Kafu road project alone 11 vehicles have gone missing since 2010.
