UPC’s John Odit suffers stroke

The former Secretary General of the Uganda Peoples Congress John Odit is admitted at International Hospital Kampala having suffered a stroke.

Odit who is currently in the Intensive Care Unit is reportedly in critical condition, having been admitted yesterday when his blood pressure shot up.

Odit is among the top UPC members who were suspended from the party by their Party President Olara Otunnu.

Speaking to KFM Oyam North Mp also a UPC party member Cyprus Ayena says Odit was attending a meeting yesterday when he suddenly collapsed.

Ayena however says Odit, who is also a former MP Erute South is improving steadily.
