UPDF install over 100 condom dispensers to minimize spread of HIV/AIDS among its officers

The Uganda people’s defense forces say it has installed over 100 condom dispensers in high risky areas to minimize spread of HIV/AIDS among its officers.

The director Medical services Uganda defense forces Dr. Col. Kusasira steven, says such strategies has helped to minimize HIV/AIDS infections in the country.

He says last year the UPDF consumed over 1.8 million condoms and this has helped in protecting the officers from contracting the disease.

He made the remarks, while explain the role taken by the UPDF to protect its officers from contracting the disease.
