A woman has sued Norvik Hospital Ltd demanding for payment of 300 million shillings as damages for the alleged sexual abuse by one of the hospital employees.

Sharon Nalule says on October 2016, she visited the hospital where she was seen by Dr. Simon Nuwagaba, a gynecologist who recommended that she carries out a urine test.

She proceeded to the laboratory where she met a male Lab Technician that concocted a test which was never requested for by a doctor.

She accuses the Lab technician of sexually assaulting her.

According to documents signed by Deputy Registrar Alex Ajiji, Norvic has been given only fifteen days within which to defend itself before Justice Margaret Oumo Oguli sets a hearing date.
